Year in Review, 2023

As I reflect on the first year of Brown Bear Wellness, I want to thank everyone for their support! From Mums and Cubs classes to outdoor kettlebells, it's been a joy to build this community. I’m excited to return in January with new classes and focus on wellness!

Reflecting on the first full year of Brown Bear Wellness, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey.

It has been a whirlwind year, both inside Brown Bear Wellness HQ and out.

Looking back on the year

I have had the privilege of working with a number of new mums and meeting their little ones during Mums and Cubs Classes and Mums In Motion Classes Each term brings their own unique atmosphere, and I am always so grateful to be trusted to be part of facilitating these groups. These groups focus primarily on a safe foundation for returning to exercise, but always inevitably grow to be so much more and a real community has developed amongst participants.

There have also been a few workshops and outdoor kettlebells classes, despite the drab weather this summer! And again, a massive thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and came along to a class or purchased multiple passes for classes! There were lots of great conversations and laughs along the way between the squats and deadlifts!

I am now taking my Christmas break and return in January with Step Aerobics classes, and another term of Mums and Cubs (with very limited spaces left at the moment).

Looking ahead

I hope next year to really renew my focus on wellness and wellbeing services.

I also aim to continue with postnatal classes as a priority. Other classes throughout the year will take place here and there, usually based on demand, so please don't be shy about asking if you'd like to see anything on the menu!

Yours in wellness,

Rachel
